Sunset Deck

Meander up a short walk through indigenous garden of fynbos and proteas to the sunset deck.

This deck overlooks Buffalo Bay and, at sunset, is ideal for taking in the breathtaking views while enjoying a drink or playing a board game in the cool sea breeze.

You may even spot the bush-buck, owls, wild pigs and birds native to the Garden Route area, or whales in whale season, so bring your binocs.

Boma / Fire Pit

Down a fynbos-lined path, you'll find the boma area, equipped with a firepit for cosy star-gazing or taking in the magnificent views of the lagoon & Outeniqua mountains by day.

Barbeque facilities and utensils are available by prior arrangement. Speak to your hosts to book this area and have the fire lit for you.

The stars are exceptional on a clear night from this vantage point!

It is a fantastic location with breath-taking views and a short drive into town. Our accommodation was a beautifully appointed, spacious, self-catering apartment in the midst of manicured gardens that epitomise the local flora. It had everything one needs and the attention to detail is great - including international power points (which we needed) and the solar system provided constant power supply and great wifi coverage.
